Tom Mockridge
Chief Executive Officer

Tom was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Virgin Media in June 2013 following the Company's acquisition by Liberty Global, the world's largest international cable operator. His appointment came on the back of a 22-year career at News Corporation where he held a series of senior roles. Tom started his career as a journalist at a regional newspaper in his native New Zealand. He moved to Australia in 1980 where he worked as economics correspondent for the Sydney Morning Herald before becoming an adviser to the Australian Treasurer and subsequently to Prime Minister Paul Keating.  In 1991, he joined News Corporation's Australian operations and in 1997 was appointed CEO of its pay TV subsidiary, Foxtel. Three years later, he moved to Hong Kong where he served as CEO of DTV, a joint venture between News Corporation and Hong Kong Telecom. In 2001, he was appointed Managing Director of Independent Newspapers, New Zealand's largest newspaper publisher, and Chairman of pay TV operator Sky New Zealand. In 2002, Tom moved to Italy where he led the merger of Stream TV and Tele+ which resulted in the creation of Sky Italia, where on completion of the merger he was the new company's first CEO. He became Managing Director of News Corporation's European Television operations in 2008 and was subsequently appointed Deputy Chairman of Sky Deutschland AG's Supervisory Board. He joined the Board of British Sky Broadcasting, where he served as Deputy Chairman.  In July 2011 he was appointed CEO of News Corporation's UK newspaper division, News International, a position he held until the end of 2012.

Robert Dunn
Chief Financial Officer

Robert was Managing Director of UPC Netherlands from January 2011 until joining Virgin Media in June 2013. He previously served as Managing Director of UPC Ireland from 2006 and was MD of Finance & Accounting of UPC Polska. He joined UPC in May 2000 and served as CFO of first UPC Broadband and then UPC Distribution, the cable television and triple play division of UPC. Robert earlier served as Group Controller of Impress Packaging Group from May 1997 to May 2000. He worked with Price Waterhouse, London for nine years from October 1988. Robert has been Director of UPC Polska since June 2000.

Magnus Ternsjö
Chief Chief Executive Officer UPC Ireland

Magnus is CEO of UPC Ireland, responsible for corporate policy, strategic planning, operational direction and overall general management of UPC Ireland’s business across its residential and business divisions. Before joining UPC Ireland in 2013, Magnus was previously Managing Director of UPC Broadband’s Central European DTH (Direct to Home) business headquartered in Luxembourg and covering four countries, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania. During the last 25 years, Magnus has been active in the PayTV / cable business field covering several European countries working for companies such as Nethold and Canal+. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management.

Paul Buttery
Chief Operating Officer 

Paul was appointed Chief Operating Officer in April 2015, prior to this he was the Chief Customer, Technology and Networks Officer since January 2010. He served as the Managing Director of Access & Networks of Virgin Media, Inc. from September 2008 to January 4, 2010 and its Managing Director of the access division since May 2007. He joined Virgin Media in February 2006 as director of customer services & operations for the business division. Paul served as the Chief Technical Officer of Cable & Wireless UK, working with Cable & Wireless from October 2004 to January 2006. From November 2002 to October 2004, he was with MCI as the vice president EMEA network & service delivery having previously worked with MCI in the United States as Vice President of Internet Operations & Planning and as Vice President of Global Data Network Management. Paul started his career with British Telecoms plc, undertaking various roles over a 15 year period.

Gregor McNeil
Managing Director, Virgin Media Consumer 

Gregor is Managing Director, Virgin Media Consumer and Deputy CFO. Gregor has over 10 years’ experience in UK Cable at Telewest & Virgin Media in which time he has performed a number of Finance Director roles and has also delivered in operational management roles. Outside of UK Cable, Gregor has been Financial Controller at Compass Group (a FTSE 30 company) and CFO of an AIM-listed telecoms business based in Dubai. Gregor qualified as a chartered accountant with Andersens and is a graduate of Strathclyde University, Glasgow. 

Peter Kelly
Managing Director, Virgin Media Business  

Peter has over 25 years' experience in the technology industry and since 2013 has led Virgin Media Business. Peter joined us from Vodafone where he managed a team of over 1500 people as Enterprise Director of Vodafone UK, driving the business in the areas  of fixed line telecoms, mobile and IT services to a variety of market sectors, including the public sector and multi-national enterprises. Prior to this he was President, Enterprise, EMEA at Nortel and responsible for a $900m enterprise business focused on driving growth, profit and market share. 

Rob Evans
Chief Information, Network & Technology Officer 

In April 2015 Rob became our Chief Information, Network & Technology Officer.  Prior to this, Rob served as our Executive Director of Engineering & Supply Chain beginning in 2009.  Rob joined us from BP International where he was the Vice President of Network, Data Centres and Global Operations from 2006 - 2009. Rob’s background in the telecommunications and cable industry includes his role as Vice President of Network Engineering at Cable & Wireless from 2000 to 2006. He has previously held senior management roles with Schlumberger in the United States and with Hong Kong Telecom in Hong Kong and Macau. In his early career, Rob worked at STC Submarine Systems and as a technical product manager with Cable & Wireless in Europe.

Maurice Daw
Chief People Officer

In August 2013 Maurice became Virgin Media’s Chief People Officer, having been at the company since March 2008. He joined as Supply Chain Director and was promoted to Executive Director of Access in January 2010 where he was responsible for field operations, one of the largest parts of the organisation. Maurice’s early career centred on FMCG manufacturing and logistics with Cadbury and Unilever. He joined Unipart Group Ltd, a large, private UK logistics company in 2000 and became the Technology Logistics Business Unit Managing Director, looking after the physical supply chains for Vodafone, Apple, HP, BSkyB, 3 and others.

Brigitte Trafford
Chief Corporate Affairs Officer

Brigitte has run the corporate communications departments of some of Britain's biggest companies, such as Lloyds Banking Group and ITV. She joined Virgin Media in February 2014 having been Director of Corporate Affairs for ICAP since July 2011. She had previously founded the strategic communications consultancy, Burghley Communications. Earlier in her career she was Global Head of Communications and chief spokesperson for Dow Jones, publisher of The Wall Street Journal, working in New York and London. She is on the advisory board of Blurb Inc., a book publishing company based in San Francisco.

Mine Hifzi
Chief Legal Officer

Mine was previously Senior Vice President of commercial and legal affairs, international, for Scripps Networks Interactive, also covering business development and commercial strategy before joining Virgin Media in February 2014. She spent 14 years heading up the international legal and government affairs team at Discovery Communications Inc and prior to that worked at Turner Broadcasting Systems Europe Ltd and United International Pictures.
